PERSONAL INJURY CASES
With regard to all personal injury clients, we work on a pure contingency basis, which means we don’t get paid until you get paid—if there’s no recovery, there’s no fee. We will advance the costs associated with the personal injury matter and not seek any reimbursement until the matter is settled or we prevail in trial. All initial consultations are free.
BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL CASES
With regard to our business and commercial clients and our real estate clients, our billable rate is $350 per hour, but often times we can work out flat or fixed fee arrangements on a project by project basis. There are certain circumstances where we can work on a blended retainer arrangement (depending on the nature of the case) where we are paid at a reduced hourly rate and are compensated upon completion of the case with a reduced contingency fee. We understand that many of our clients cannot afford the enormous costs associated with litigation, and to that end, we try to be as flexible as we can be to ensure that our clients can get the quality representation they deserve. So where possible, and if it is within our risk tolerance, we can make arrangements for less traditional modes of compensation for fees.
REAL PROPERTY AND LOAN ISSUES
With regard to our clients seeking loan modifications and loan audits, we operate strictly on a fixed fee basis, meaning you will know exactly what you will pay regardless of how much time an attorney spends on your case. Also, we do offer partial refunds in the event you retain us for a loan modification and we cannot negotiate new terms on your behalf. We share the risk with our clients—which means we won’t take on your loan modification case if we don’t think we can get you better terms. You’re not going to be “sold” a service you can’t use, because if you can’t use it, we don’t get paid.
